Mom & Sarah visit:)

My mom and sister Sarah came to visit for about a week.  They came to watch the kids so Aaron and I could get away for the weekend in Vegas and meet up with a few college friends.  They were here a couple days before and after we were gone so we were able to see a few sights around San Diego:)   They came on a Wednesday morning and flew into San Diego...so we picked them up and went to Coronado Island for the day (it just so happened it was the same day as the opening day at Del Mar (horse races), Comic Con convention and some huge soccer game...so we avoided San Diego!).  It was a beautiful day, ate lunch at Hotel De Coronado (on the beach) and then walked up and down the main street with all the cute little shops.  The next day we made a Target run and hung out around the house trying to get the kids used to Mom and Sarah and used to their schedules and stuff.  Then Friday morning Aaron had to go to a mtg. at work real quick and we were on the road to Vegas by 11am.  It's about a 4 hour drive (pretty boring desert drive!) so not bad...and without kids it really wasn't bad!!  We got back Sunday evening and just hung out.  Monday we went to the Safari Park and then Tuesday afternoon they flew out...so that morning we went down to the San Diego Harbor, Seaport Village, and had lunch and shopped around at the cute shops they have.  It was awesome to have them here and even more awesome to get away and not have to worry about the kids!  I knew they were in good hands so it was great.  Wish we lived closer!!  Thanks Mom and Sarah, love you guys!

Mile long Coronado bridge, I've been on it before, but wasn't driving...this time I was and about hyperventilated, just nerve racking!!

Lunch on the water:)

Little windy but pretty view:)

Dessert at a self-serve frozen yogurt place, love these!

This picture cracks me up!  Seriously, if we didn't have their shirts, they would have dove right in!!  LOL!

Grandma and her kids...she's still got it:)

Zebras at the Safari Park...last time we went we didn't get to see them and Aiden was sooo disappointed, so glad Sarah got a good pic of them this time!

On the Tram ride through the Safari, Evan only whimpered at the beginning this time so that was good!

If you pay extra (like a lot extra) you can take this ride and feed the giraffes.

Coolin' off at the water zone:)

Sarah and Aiden at Seaport Village on the San Diego Harbor

He insisted on taking a picture with the football guy:)

Mom brought State softball shirts for all of us (Evan was sleeping) because my sister, Mackenzie, made it to state and it just happened to be the week Mom and Sarah were at our place, boo!....but they finished 4th, which is great!!
