After our week in Kansas, we drove up to Iowa on Christmas Eve. Made it in time for 5:00pm mass which is a ritual in our family, so that was nice:) Afterwards we celebrated my sisters Mackenzie's birthday (Dec. 21-she is now 18, yikes). Christmas morning is when we all opened our presents. The kids were so excited and were spoiled again! That afternoon we headed to my dad's side of the family for our annual Christmas at the Rec. Center. The kids swam, played games, ran around on the basketball court, it was a blast! So glad we made it back and were able to see everyone:)
