Football Season:)

Aiden is SOOOO into football this year. Maybe it's having Aaron home this time of year (last year he was deployed) or his age, but he asks to watch football everyday and the first thing he does when he wakes up in the morning and gets up from nap is put his boots on like the players! I guess the long socks with the cleats looks like his rain boots to him, we tried to get him some cleat-looking tennis shoes the other day, but he refused and said he wanted his boots like the players. He will watch the players tackle each other then he'll fall down and tackle:)

If Aaron is not home to tackle with, I tell him to tackle his bunny or stack some pillows for him!
He likes to continue this outside as well, I think he just made a touchdown here...lol (we have boots for outside and inside!).

We actually went to a football game on base last week. Aiden was able to play with one of the practice footballs and was in heaven. All he did was run and fall "tackle" for a good 10 min. He probably could have done it the whole game.
